Ever wanted to learn how to throw on a potter’s wheel, we offer 90 minute pottery classes which are perfect for all skill levels.

Have  fun with clay in this 90 minute pottery wheel throwing class and make  your  very own pieces.  In a supportive and hands-on environment, you'll  gain the skills to transform a lump of clay into beautiful functional  pottery. This class is also ideal for those who wants to join our weekly  pottery classes but wants to try first.

Great for date nights, families, small groups, and events to get started in ceramics.  (10 max). For ages 12 and up 

You will experience how to throw cylinder or pot on a pottery wheel

Instructor will explain process of making pottery

We will provide all tools and supply including clay

After  you hand build your piece, we will glaze and fire it. This typically   takes about 3-4 weeks. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Hand building is a ceramics technique that allows you turn a 

lump clay and your hands, without using a throwing wheel into something functional and beautiful.

 Learn  the art of Hand Building in our 2 hour pottery class. An instructor  will help guide you to make a one of a kind pottery piece through the  basics of pinch pots and coil building. 

Hand  building students might build a plate, bowl, mug or vase using slabs,  molds, pinching coils and extrusions. You will be able to surfaces using  doilies, found objects, carving, sgraffito and stencils. You will be  given guidance to develop your skills and techniques in hand building  methods. 

After  you hand build your piece, we will glaze and fire it. This typically   takes about 3-4 weeks. We look forward to seeing you soon!
