Classes are 5-week Intro to Wheel Throwing course where you will learn how to wedge, center your clay, throwing, trimming, and glazing. These courses are offered continuously throughout the year and are for all levels of experience. We try to offer a variety of classes at different times during the week so you can choose whichever class works best with your schedule and are 2 hours long. You do not need any experience with clay to join, these are intro classes.

We recommend wearing clothes and shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty.
If you have long hair, be prepared to pull your hair back and to trim your nails is helpful.

- Unlimited Recycled Clay for practice
- Use of wheels, slab roller, and glazes

- Access to 2 hour/day open Studio Sessions for 7 weeks

5-Week Course Curriculum(Weekly topics to look forward to!)
Week 1: Introduction to the studio + wheel throwing
Week 2: Wheel throwing
Week 3: Wheel throwing and Introduction to trimming techniques
Week 4: Time to finish up on pieces and Introduction to glazing
Week 5: Glazing bisque fired pieces
Students are not permitted take their wet work home or bring in outside work to the studio. No outside clay permitted - no exceptions
Allow 2-3 weeks for pieces to be ready for pick up.
**please be aware that our wheels could interfere with a pacemaker.
